Last updated: May 2026

AutoResQ ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Services includes:

A. Personal Data

Personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide when registering for an account, using the Services, or contacting us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and company information. This includes account data such as your role (dispatcher, tow company, or driver) and associated company details.

B. Location Data

While a driver is on-shift or assigned to a job, we collect device location data to route jobs, show ETAs, and enable real-time fleet tracking. Location data is collected only when you are actively using the app or have enabled background location tracking for active job assignments. You may disable location services through your device settings; however, doing so may limit certain features of the Services.

C. Job Content

Information related to jobs you create, dispatch, or complete, including pickup and delivery addresses, vehicle details (VIN, license plate), photos of vehicles or scenes, electronic signatures, and notes or messages entered into job records.

D. Device and Usage Data

Information about your device and how you interact with the Services, including but not limited to your device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, mobile network information, log data, crash reports, and push notification tokens.

E. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities and to improve the functionality of our Services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

  • Create and manage your account and provide the Services.
  • Create, dispatch, and manage tow jobs and route drivers.
  • Notify you of job status, assignments, progress, and other service-related updates.
  • Communicate with you about your account, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use of the Services.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve and optimize the performance, functionality, and user experience of the Services.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following situations:

  • With job parties: Job-related data (such as pickup and delivery addresses, vehicle details, and contact information) is shared only with the dispatcher, tow company, and assigned driver for that specific job as necessary to fulfill the service.
  • Service providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, and other business partners who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, data analytics, and customer service.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose your information where required by law or to respond to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
  • Business transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

4. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to access, update, or delete your personal information.
  • The right to rectification if your information is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • The right to object to or restrict the processing of your personal information.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time where we relied on your consent to process your information.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@autoresq.com.

5. Permissions

The Services may request access to certain device features:

  • Location: Required for drivers to receive routes and for dispatchers to track active fleets. Location data is used only for operational purposes while jobs are active.
  • Camera & Photos: Required to capture vehicle condition photos, scan VIN barcodes, and attach documentation to job records.
  • Notifications: Used to alert you of new jobs, status changes, messages, and other important service updates.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and job data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time inside the app by navigating to Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and removes your profile, role assignments, fleet membership, and live location data. You may also request deletion by emailing support@autoresq.com.

8. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with row-level access controls. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Report security concerns to support@autoresq.com.
